Good point, John. I'm glad you like the post. The more gratitude we bring in to our lives (and meals), the more joy! :)

Although this is an older blog, I find this to be extremely relevant with Thanksgiving being only a few days away, especially considering that blessing your food (or "saying grace", if you will), is a traditional practice for this holiday.
Namaste and Happy Thanksgiving!

Sarah,

You're most welcome! Thanks for the comment - I love that you've shared how you start your day. It sounds like a great practice! Funny, I'd thought about an iPhone app too! Super happy there's already one out there.

I am honored you've shared the Healing Haiti meditation with friends, and that you resonate with the offerings here. We keep rippling out light and the web of interconnection shines!

Thank You, Katrina, for sharing this post and for the blessings specific to food. It will be fun to focus on this for this week. I am grateful too for your Meditation for Haiti. I shared with my friends and we gathered and focused on each part with our intentions for Haiti. I have two friends who are Anusara trained teachers, and I enjoy the beautiful phrases that seep through this practice.

I start my day with coffee from Guatemala (my "cookie"), and often greet the day with Power Up 8, my yoga app - a six minute vinyasa in your pocket". Often i continue, unable to resist a strong balance or a deep Virabydrasana I and Beyond. Blessings to you!
