Morning Light

The light is so beautiful this morning.
Everything green dances in the wind.
I simply sit and let the visions come to me;
The face in the tree, the waving branches,
The constantly shifting shades of illumination.
When the song bird sings, does she feel the same
Splendor I do when I hear her?
Her body resonating with waves of sound
That carry effortlessly in the morning air.
The chimes ring quietly in accompaniment.
There is a whispering in the trees.
I wonder what they are saying,
Or is it just a collective sigh…
A cresting breath of being
Right here, right now, in Grace.
